Cincy's Downtown is an american restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 115 E February 1 Pl, Greensboro, NC 27401, which places it among the local businesses of Greensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Just stopped in for lunch. Quick friendly service. Greeted at the door and my drink served quickly. Clean restaurant. Food served fast and hot. Best Cincy chili, in the south. Get it on a hotdog or on spaghetti. If you haven't tried it, you dont know what you are missing. Stop by soon, for something new then.

Cincy's is Greensboro's longest-running restaurant. It is female-owned, too! It opened back in 1986 by a Cincinnati native, Linda Schweppe, who brought her unique Chili recipe to Greensboro. After she retired, she sold her business to Bonnie and Cindy, who had worked at the restaurant. This ensured the original recipes remained in Greensboro. The restaurant moved into the current building back in 1987. It is located on February One Place, which was renamed to honor the date of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins at the nearby Woolworth lunch counter. The restaurant is a little hard to find as it isn't on Elm St, but they have signage on Elm Street to help you find it. The construction work appears to be over, at least in that area. I had been wanting to go to Cincy's for a while now, but aligning the hours I was in town to their operating hours had never worked. The stars were finally in alignment, and I got to dine there! It is kind of a hole-in-the-wall. The decor is simple with the tables and black chairs. There is a counter at the front to pick up to go orders. It is the type of place I try to find to eat. The vibe here is welcoming. I was greeted when I walked in and told I could

Stopped by Cincyβs Downtown in Greensboro and loved it! I got the vegetarian dog with vegetarian chili, coleslaw, and cheese, plus a side salad. The chili was amazing, probably the best vegetarian chili Iβve ever had. Everything was fresh and really well done. Great spot, friendly people, and awesome food. Iβll definitely be back!

Worked with Bonnie at Cincyβs for a large party (60 guests). She was so easy to work with & the end result was perfect. We ordered chili (traditional and vegetarian), beans, and all the toppings. She set everything perfectly and all the guests complimented the food. The food stayed hot and cleanup was easy. I will definitely work with her again.

Took the train in from Raleigh and this little place was right around the corner. Im so glad we discovered it. The chili is awesome! The atmosphere is cool too with a few Bengals and Reds items on the wall. I would definitely eat here again.
